The latest Blue Line Ultra tracheostomy range and Suctionaid products have won an increased market share for SIMS Portex, and the Deltec Legacy infusion pump has been well received by clinicians requiring a single therapy unit. A key to our success is the rapid development of innovative devices for the healthcare market and we have significantly increased expenditure on R & D in Medical Systems in recent years. Our activity in this area enables us to respond to customer requirements more quickly and shorten the time it takes to bring new products to the market, a process that will continue - leading to a number of major product launches later this year.
